2015 Japan National Peace March

It is with great excitement that we announce the schedule of this year’s Japan National Peace March against Atomic & Hydrogen Bombs!

In this special year of the 70th anniversary of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki Atomic Bombings, an international relay of foreign delegates for the 2015 Japan National Peace March Against Atomic & Hydrogen Bombs from May 6-August 4, 2015 is again being organized.

Organizations and young people from around the world are invited to join the 2015 Peace March in the 70th anniversary of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki Atomic Bombings. This will be one of the major activities after the NPT Review Conference in New York on April and would be a good opportunity to voice out the necessary messages based on the outcomes of the NPT Review Conference. We strongly hope for a substantial positive outcome from this year’s NPT RevCon.

As the Hibakushas are not getting any younger, this is also a critical time to ensure that our younger generations will carry on the ‘heart & voice’ of the Hibakushas. May their voice resonate and not be forgotten as we move forward and realize a nuclear free world.

Below is the map and schedule of the different courses of Peace Marches across Japan. The flashing red route indicates the Tokyo-Hiroshima course which will have the International Youth Relay Component.

Should you be interested, kindly contact until April 15, 2015.

With our minds, feet and heart, let us all walk together and call for a peaceful & just world!
