Peace March Journals 平和行進の日記

Don’t tell my mother I am in ‪#‎Fukushima‬ ‪#‎Japan

…Now within 15 kilometer radius from the nuclear power plant. This town called Odaka is still abandoned by residents but the local government is still operational and there have been pronouncements that in a few months, the radiation levels will be deemed safe and people will be invited back to occupy their old homes. There is still a debate though whether the monitoring process is credible. Right now…i feel like I am in movie set after pack-up…practically no one around..traffic lights cater to very few vehicles and only a handful of people. Mostly, senior citizens. Whatever comes out of this, I sincerely hope that the whole world will learn from this ‪#‎nuclear‬ tragedy.‪#‎neveragain‬ ‪#‎notonukes‬ !!! ‪#‎peacemarch2016‬ ‪#‎JapanPeaceMarch‬
